In order to make submitting items for inclusion to “ECF Interactive” as easy and safe as possible contributors are asked to read and comply with the following guidelines…
Submission Guidelines.
1. Items for inclusion in “ECF Interactive” should be given to Andrew or Kevin or should be emailed to ecfinteractive@enniscorthychristianfellowship.ie
2. Items submitted should be the contributor’s own work or the work of someone they know and who’s permission to include said item has been obtained prior to submitting it.
3. Items already subject to copyright will NOT be published without written permission from the copyright holder. (Please note that it is the responsibility of the person submitting the item to ensure that either no copyright is held on that item or that prior written permission is obtained.)
4. Items submitted will only be published where the message and/or content of the item are considered by the ECF Interactive editors NOT to be contrary to Enniscorthy Christian Fellowship’s Statement of Faith.
5. “ECF Interactive” is a public blog open to anyone with Internet access, we therefore strongly recommend that contributors are mindful of this before submitting any items containing personal information for inclusion or publication.
6. In the interest of personal safety, space limitations and balance of content all items submitted for inclusion/publication in “ECF Interactive” may be subject to editing. We will of course try to ensure that contributors are informed of and are happy with any editing prior to inclusion/publication.
7. In the interest of child safety and in line with our Internet child safety policy, no photographic content showing children actually attending Enniscorthy Christian Fellowship’s services, events or activities will be included or published within this blog.
8. Whilst we appreciate all contributions submitted please be advised that the decision whether to include or publish any item submitted and when to include/publish said item remains with the editors. Likewise we reserve the right to alter, withdraw, delete or remove any item published or included when necessary.
9. As a general rule of thumb, written submissions should where possible be no more than 500 words in length. (As a guide, please note that these guidelines contain 400 words.)
10. All pictures, graphics and photographs should be submitted in either jpg, gif, or png format. (Other formats may possibly be considered but will require conversion before inclusion.) Please note that due to space and presentation limitations all pictures, graphics and photographs submitted may be subject to editing.
Suggested Submissions
If you would like to submit an item for inclusion on this blog but are not sure what you could contribute, here are just a few possible suggestions…
Artwork.
Are you interested in art? Do you paint or draw or sketch? Why not share your work by submitting some of it for inclusion in the blog?
Book Reviews.
Are you an avid or casual reader? Have you recently read a book that you think others will enjoy or which will bless others? How about writing a review of it, and share how it impacted you?
Film Reviews.
Have you recently seen a movie, film or DVD that you really enjoyed? Do you have a favourite film that really blesses you? Why not write a short review on it, sharing why it means so much to you?
Giving Feedback.
In addition to being able to share you own items with others, we invite folk to comment on the items submitted in this block. So if you have read something shared by someone else and want to let them know how much you enjoyed it or how it blessed you, why not leave a comment at the end of that post! Just fill out the leave a reply box situated under every post published.
Inspirational Thoughts.
Ever have thoughts that really inspire you? Ever feel like sharing them with others? Well why not share them here?
Interviews.
Do you have some spare time? Ever wanted to know more about Christians who are well known or in the public eye? Maybe a Christian sports person, or a Christian politician or a Christian writer or singer/musician? Why not interview them either in person if you have the chance or by writing to them explaining about the blog and asking them questions you think would be interesting and relevant to others?
Music.
Are you a budding singer/songwriter or musician? Do you write or perform your own material? Why not share it by submitting it for inclusion on the blog? I am sure we would love to hear it!
Photography.
Interested in photography? Why not share some of your work with others by submitting it for inclusion in the blog? Photographs can be such a good medium for expressing and inspiring thoughts and we would love to see some of your work.
Poetry.
Are you a budding poet? There are a few of them in the church you know. Ever thought about sharing your poetry with others? Why not share them by posting them here? We really would love to read or even them and arrangements can be made to record you sharing them if you would prefer.
Recipes.
Is cooking or baking one of your gifts? Why not share your recipes with others? Learning new recipes can be a great blessing and by sharing your favourite recipes you can really bring enjoyment to others – not only those who will cook or bake what you share but also those who eat it!
Reports
Recently been on a mission or attended a Christian concert, conference, seminar, workshop or some other event? Why not write a short report about it and share your experience with others so that they too can benefit from your time there?
Song Reviews.
Do you have a favourite song? Is there a song or songs that really speak to your heart and which really bless you? Why not review it here, sharing just why the song blesses you so much.
Testimonies.
Ever wanted to share about your faith but never really been sure of how or where to do it? How about sharing it with others through this our church blog? Hearing how God has impacted or is impacting the lives of others can be a real blessing!
